Fields like Summer is inspired by childhood memories of car journeys as we went on family holidays to Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire. I can remember gazing out of the window, watching the fluffy white clouds create the most beautiful shapes while the landscape changed constantly forming a carousel of blurred colour and botanicals.

The painting is highly textured, representing the raw landscape itself combined with the interesting patterns formed from remnants of raindrops and countryside roads on the window.
