Going green!

Hiya, hope you’re all keeping well and had a lovely weekend (it’s Sunday 21st Sep today just in case you don’t come across this until a few days time). I thought I’d quickly update you with what I’ve been up to lately. It’s been a strange old weeks here. Both my girls have been ill, colds, coughs and sickness. So lot’s of cuddles, pj days and naps but sadly no painting for me. All better now though, less green around the gills! So back on track tomorrow, hurrah!

I’ve kept myself busy in other ways and ordered a few ceramic Christmas tree decorations and LED tea light holders ready to paint in my festive floral style. I’ll be taking these to local craft fairs throughout November and December (I’ll add them here as soon as I have all the details). I’ll also add them on my website too so you can buy them online. My army of hand painted green tree decorations were a success last year, so I’m hoping this years will be a hit too!

Finally, as you know I’m keen to do my bit for the environment and looking at ways to reduce my carbon footprint not only within my home but business too. I’ve been trying to find a local printing company that I can use to supply my fine art prints. Unfortunately I’ve not been successful as of yet. I’m now looking at buying my own printer so I can create in house printing. This will speed up production time and deliver orders faster and more sustainably. Printing greener!

I’m currently trying to raise money for the printer, if anyone would like to contribute I have a crowdfunder page. Anything would be greatly appreaciated. https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/supportnavyslothart
