A little catch up
Hey, it’s been a while since I last wrote a blog on here. My apologies. I’m constantly juggling my time between family life (school runs, playing, cleaning, cooking, the neverending food shops and picking up toys throughout the day) with my creative time which is as you can imagine limited. I wouldn’t change it, I love being a mam, my girls are my everything and I truly appreciate my life. So I guess what I’m trying to say is please don’t think I’ve deliberately not blogged on here for a bit, it’s just tricky!
Also i do tend to add quick little updates on my instagram page, so if your not already why not check out my page and follow me there too. I tend to add quick reels or live streams showing my process which tend to go down well with my followers. https://www.instagram.com/navysloth.art/
So, whats been going on in my life? Whats new? Well I’ve been busy creating my first ever diptych painting. It’s an abstract floral drip painting full of colour, texture and botanical bliss. There’s a beautiful juxtoposition between the top section of the piece which depicts chaotic wildflowers created using my wild drip technique and the delicate detailed illustrative botanics represented in the lower half.
I will add it to my collection as soon as it’s dry, however if you simply cannot wait then feel free to contact me to reserve. It’s 40cm x 80cm in total with a recommended 1cm gap inbetween. Oil and pen on canvas. £725
