Navy Sloth Paintings – Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
I’ve been a huge fan of artist Gerhard Richter for many years. So I decided to follow in his footsteps and work in a similar style for this painting. I used a credit card to drag the paint along the canvas. This gave wonderful texture, and allowed different colours to emerge. I wanted it to look quite delicate so I kept to the pale shades. The soft grey and yellow work well together with the occasional hint of boldness in areas to intensify the contrasting textures.
This painting comes with a beautiful silver colour frame free of charge.
