Navy Sloth Paintings – Day Dreamer
Inspired by movement, Day Dreamer is an abstract oil painting created using delicate shades of blues and greens. Based on a memory from a car journey looking out the window at the trees and sky blurring into one. Being mesmerised by the colours merging as we drove by. I would spend hours gazing up at the clouds finding ones that look like objects. I find it a calming and relaxing way to spend a summer’s day, day-dreaming in my own little world.
The style reminds me of that of Monet who is one of my great inspirations.
