Navy Sloth Paintings – Chasing Squirrels
Chasing squirrels is an abstract acrylic painting based on happy childhood memories during a family picnic in the park. It reminds me of when life was easy, carefree, and had little pressures put upon us. Where running, playing, chasing squirrels made us smile and giggle. The layers of green paint have been allowed to free-fall down the canvas and overlap. This remind me of running through the park in a blur of movement and frenzy. The contrasting yellow highlighting the happy memories.
