Navy Sloth Paintings – Get Up, Stand Up
This bold acrylic abstract painting was created using shades of blue, pink, black, white and grey, This is an unusual combination that actually works really well together to create a striking piece or art.
The style was inspired by artist Gerhard Richter who creates massive abstract pieces that demand attention. He makes the process look effortless, however controlling the paint is not as easy as it looks.
I dragged the paint around the canvas using a credit card to create texture. With each movement of the card, different patterns and shades were created.
